Elf

Well he is done. He has been a real work in progress. I made the head in a class I took several years ago & really liked it. Always wanted the body to be as good. His armature includes a rib cage. I used Lisa Lichtenfel's body technique. I was using it for a little girl and botched the pelvis so it was perfect for the elf. My sister came up with the idea of the suspender idea with the buttons and I love how that looks. He will being going to live with her after his public debute at the "B Street Bookstore in Hayward, CA" this month.

Pretty Prim

I love these rag dolls. Love the primitive combined with the fancy dress.es

Molly wobbles

Artful rag doll. Alter face with hand embroidery.

Pretty Prim Angels

Christmas tree toppers with a primitive flare.

Mermaid

This is an idea I irked on fter seeing the Paul Gautier exhibit at the Deyoung!

Red and Black Angel

This is a redo. I originally made this doll with a cloth head and really didn't like it. This is the first time I have tried Christmas tree topper with a polymer head. I like the cloth because they are not as heavy but she looks good.

Joan of Arc

This is a commission piece client wanted a Joan of Arc christmas tree topper. The fabric painted with a hand made stamp and then additional color is added to the fleur de lis with a blue pencil. I found this great silver and gold pleather for the upper body. Her face is an alter photo that is then color with pastel and colored pencils. the armour on her head is hand crocheted silver thread.

Custom Christmas Tree Topper

This Christmas tree topper was created by a customers request. He like the pink and gold angel but asked for something that had an asian theme. the dress and wings are hand embroidered. I created the sticks in her hair by taking skewers cutting painting and cover with clear nail polish to create a shine. then I glued on gold thread with beads attached.

Christmas Exchange

This doll was created for our clubs christmas exchange. I did the colors specifically in mind for Colleen. I really like how the face turned out. I altered a photo of the mona lisa and this is how it turned out. I like it really goes with the colors. You can't see but her body and wings have a lot of hand embroidery.
