Halloween ornaments made in 2015

Some Halloween ornaments I made last year made with tins on spools with various types of polymer clay.  I use pastels to color them.  You can definitely see a bit of Gail Lackey influence.  Her works is so fabulous.

Molly's doll

Basic cloth doll pattern with sculpted fingers and toes.  The hair is just regular year that I wove through the head.  I used paint, pen and pencil to create the face.  I really like the face.

Elf

Well he is done. He has been a real work in progress. I made the head in a class I took several years ago & really liked it. Always wanted the body to be as good. His armature includes a rib cage. I used Lisa Lichtenfel's body technique. I was using it for a little girl and botched the pelvis so it was perfect for the elf. My sister came up with the idea of the suspender idea with the buttons and I love how that looks. He will being going to live with her after his public debute at the "B Street Bookstore in Hayward, CA" this month.
